1. HOW TO ORDER

To find a specific title on our website you can use our ‘Site Search’.  Enter the title of the book you want or the author or a keyword or the ISBN—then just press the Go button. The book you entered will appear and you’ll find a detailed description by clicking on the title. If you like what you see simply add it to your cart. Or you can choose a category of interest and browse the titles, then add your choices to your shopping cart.

2. PAYMENT METHODS

Stackpole Books accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express.

3. SHIPPING METHODS

Domestic Orders:
Unless otherwise requested, all orders shipping within the United States will be shipped via USPS Media Mail. Please refer to the following chart for postage and handling charges and allow three–four weeks for delivery.

International Orders:
If your order is to ship outside the United States please contact us during business hours for both economy mail and priority mail charges. Surface mail can take 8–10 weeks for delivery; air mail should be delivered within two weeks. Your order will be processed once we receive confirmation of the desired shipping method and payment has been received.

Rush Orders:
If your order needs to arrive more quickly than the delivery times listed above, we are happy to expedite your order. Please contact us during business hours for options and charges. You can reach us Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time by calling 800-732-3669 extension 136.

4. BACKORDERS

Unless otherwise indicated, each title on this site is available for your order. However, from time to time, we unexpectedly run short of certain titles. In the unlikely event that this would happen with your order, we will notify you of the backorder, and deliver the book immediately upon availability. You will not be charged for backordered titles until the time of shipment.

5. RETURNS

Stackpole Books accepts returns up to thirty (30) days from date of invoice. Returned books must be received in saleable condition or refund/credit will not be issued.  We recommend that you insure your return; we cannot give you credit for a return that is lost in the mail. There is no fee for returns, although you will not be reimbursed for the shipping cost. If the returned item is in good, resalable condition we will credit your charge card, or send you a refund check if you paid with a check or money order. Credit will be issued only for books purchased directly from Stackpole Books.

6. TO CHECK THE STATUS OF AN ORDER

Please call Customer Service: 800-732-3669 extension 136. We are available Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.

7. TO CHANGE YOUR ORDER

Please contact us by phone Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. If the order has not yet been processed, it should be relatively simple to make changes to it. We send the orders to our warehouse as they are received, so the opportunity to change your order is better if you contact us within the same day.

8. IF YOUR ORDER IS INCOMPLETE OR DAMAGED

Please call Customer Service: 800-732-3669 extension 136 or email slane@stackpolebooks.com immediately upon receipt of your order.
