Editors M. David Detweiler and David Reisch will lecture and sign copies of their newest Gettysburg title, Gettysburg: The Story of the Battle with Maps, at these events as part of the anniversary celebrations of the Battle of Gettysburg:

7/1, 6:30 PM: Talk and signing at Pages of the Past, 13 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325. The evening begins with a discussion expanding on the content of their book and their creative process, and ends with a book signing.

7/12, 10AM-2: Editor M. David Detweiler will sign copies at Gettysburg National Park Service Museum and Visitor Center Bookstore, 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA 17325


Historian and author Tom Huntington will sign his critically acclaimed book, Searching for George Gordon Meade: The Forgotten Victor of Gettysburg, at these events and locations:

7/3, 7 PM: Talk at the meeting of the North Shore Civil War Round Table at the South Huntington Public Library, 145 Pidgeon Hill Road, Huntington Station, NY 11746

7/5, 10AM-1: Book signing at For the Historian, 42 York Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325

7/5, 2-4 PM: Book signing at The Gettysburg Heritage Center, 297 Steinwehr Avenue, Gettysburg, PA 17325


Paranormal expert and author James Willis will be signing his latest book, The Big Book of Ohio Ghost Stories, at the following events and locations:

7/5, 12 PM: "Author Alley 2014," an annual gathering and book fair for local Ohio authors at Loganberry Books, 13015 Larchmere Boulevard, Shaker Heights, OH 44120


Chef, restaurant critic, and author Mimi Brodeur will present delicious recipe samples and autograph her Peach Cookbook at these events and locations:

7/18, 1-3 PM: Book signing at Giant Foods, 2300 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110

7/26, 12-2 PM: Book signing at Karns Foods, 731 Cherry Dr., Hershey, PA 17033
